How to use Similarity Search

Getting started with Similarity Search is simple. In just a few steps, you’ll discover a range of tracks that match your creative vision:

Login

Log in to your account and click the Similiarty Search icon in the search bar on the homepage.

Paste your reference video or upload audio

Enter a URL (from Youtube or Vimeo) or upload an audio file directly (wav or mp3).

Select time frame

Using the controls, select a time range that you want Similatiry Search to analyse. This could be the chorus, intro or whichever part of the track you’re looking to capture. You can select an audio snippet up to a minute long (e.g. 0.30-1:30).

Click ‘search’

When you’re ready, hit the search button. Similarity Search will start analyzing the audio, identifying tempo, mood, instrumentation, and other key musical features to find your perfect match.
